Corvette Indy Concept 1986
Chevrolet Management wanted for 1986 American Auto Shows a striking design vehicule for the Company image and a symbol for the promotion of Ilmor Indy twin turbo racing engine. The first grey show car was a non running unit. It was followed by two prototypes developped in association with Lotus Engineering. Those cars where showcase running vehicules demonstrating future technologies like active suspensions and all wheel driving transmission.
