ItalDesign Frazer Nash Namir by Giugiaro

Namir (Arabian name for tiger) is a concept car born of the collaboration between ItalDesign Giugiaro and Frazer Nash, a company specialized in the design, construction and marketing of hybrid solutions. The hybrid system combines a 814 cc twin rotor rotary engine connected to an electric generator and four electric motors, would offer autonomy of 39 km with one litre of fuel and CO2 emissions of less than 60 gram per km. The Electric energy storage is by Lithium-ion polymer battery cells.

Body and chassis construction is a combination of aluminium and carbon fibre. Quoted performances are over 300 kph (187 mph) in top speed and 0 to 100 kph in 3,5 seconds.
