Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ1 Tubolare Zagato 1963-1966
This Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ1 Tubolare Zagato was indeed assembled by Autodelta and was a real competition car capable of good performances in the Grand Touring (GT) Class. It was fitted with a tubular space-frame , an aerodynamic body made of light alloy and an excellent powerful engine.

Between the numerous winning positions, we can quote 1964 Coupe des Alpes and 1965 Critérium des Cevennes with the team Rolland-Augias (who won the 1964 and 1965 France Champion title), 1965 Italy Tour with De Adamich-Lini. It also obtained several Class wins at famous endurance races like 24 hours of Le Mans, 12 hours of Sebring, Tour de Corse, 1000 km Nurburgring or Targa Florio for example. 112 models were produced between 1963 and 1966. |

Body designed by Zagato and made of light alloy on tubular space-frame. ENGINE: light alloy four cylinders in line with two overhead camshafts, 1570 cc., fitted with two twin body Weber 45 carburetors and producing a maximum output of 113 hp at 6.500 rpm. TRANSMISSION rear wheel drive, 5 speed gearbox Suspension independent front and rear, BRAKES hydraulic drums all wheels. WEIGHT unladen 660 kg MAXIMUM SPEED 215 kph.
