The Aston Martin One-77 made its first world appearance at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2009. This new supercar was unveiled at the Geneva Motor show in form of a full scale mock up and a mule showing the carbon fibre structure and the mechanical elements. The presentation of the first car completed allowed to discover the interior. The naturally aspirated engine is a V12 derived from Aston Martin line but extended to 7,3 litre and with a maximum power output announced for 700 bhp and maximum torque of 750 Nm. It incorporates a dry sump lubrication system. The transmission is six-speed automated manual with Auto Shift Manual/Select Shift Manual (ASM/SMM) electro-hydraulic control system and is mounted at the rear with the differential for a better weight distribution. The total weight is approximately 1500 kg. The body structure is made of carbon fibre while the body panels are hand crafted aluminium elements.
The body integrate an deployable spoiler at the top of the tail end. Price is in the range of 1,2 million Euros and only 77 units are to be sold. Performance figures have not yet been announced.
