From March 15 to July 27 1933 at Monthléry Track (France) a Citroën 8CV Petite Rosalie covered 300.000 kilometers in 134 days at the average speed of 93 km/h. At that time, it was the world record of the greatest distance achieved and the longest running time for a car.
The 8CV « Petite Rosalie » that established the record was the same one that was delivered to individual buyers.
The Citroën 8CV Petite Rosalie 1933 shown here was exposed at Rétromobile 2011 Motor Show, Paris.
