Chevrolet Corvette C6R
The Chevrolet Corvette C6R won GT1 class and finished 4th overall at 2006 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Already in 2005, the C6R won its class at Le Mans race and this followed several similar successes by previous Corvette C5R. The sixth generation Corvette was developped in tandem for racing and production. Both C6R and ZO6 have similar technologies, in particular, the 7 liter aluminium V8 altough at different level of sophistication.
