This Maserati Tipo A6GCM racing car from 1951 was presented by Julia De Baldanza at the Le Mans circuit for the LM Story 2007.
A six cylinder in line is installed in a tubular space-frame to which the body panels are bolted. The twin exhaust pipe can be seen on the left side of the car with a protection perforated metal foil alongside the driver position. The front independent suspension is by coil spring and double triangle. The rear axle is suspended on semi elliptic springs attached to the tubular space-frame. The pictures of the driving position shows a large rim wood covered steering wheel. The gear level is located on the floor under the steering wheel and just in front of the driver bucket seat. Braking is by large drums with cooling vents on each wheel.
