The Talbot T26 GS pictured here was presented at 2006 Le Mans Classic and is a 1951 version of the 1950 winning car.
Talbot T26 Gs is a F1 Grand Prix Talbot car adjusted to endurance sports car regulations. The cockpit has been widened and the steering comumn was offset for a two seater configuration. Fenders were added on all wheels, lamps and battery were also included. The 4.483 cc. engine had lower compression ratio. Louis Rosier and his son won Le Mans 1950 edition with G. Mairesse and P. Meyrat in second position on a similar car. P. Meyrat and G. Mairesse took second position in such a car in Le Mans 1951 edition.
