1 - Porsche 918 Plug-In Hybrid High Performance Spyder
Porsche 918 Plug-In Hybrid High Performance Spyder is a near production concept car with a fuel consumption claimed for just 3 litres /100 kilometres (equivalent to 94 mpg imp) in New European Driving Cycle, equal to a CO2 emission rating of 70 g/km.. This mid engine open two seater is powered by a high-speed V8 developing more than 500 hp as well as electric motors on the front and rear axle with overall mechanical output of 218 hp (160 kW). 3 - Pininfarina Alfa Romeo 2ettottanta Spider Project 2010
This concept car is presented as a celebration for the 80th anniversary of Pininfarina and the 100th Anniversary of Alfa Romeo. The name 2ettottanta also recalls the legendary Duetto produced by both companies. The Pininfarina Alfa Romeo Spider is proposed with clean and elegant lines and comes with a turbocharged 1750cc engine positioned longitudinally. 5 - ItalDesign Giugiaro Proton EMAS Family of Compact Eco-Friendly Vehicles
PROTON is the biggest car manufacturer in Malaysia and was set up in 1983.The name EMAS meaning “gold” in Malay, is the acronym for Eco Mobility Advanced Solution.

6 - Citroën Survolt Electric Sports Car Concept
Citroen introduced at 2010 Geneva Motor Show a n astonishing two seats coupe that is announced to be pure electric propulsion. No details, however, were available of the specifications for this electric drive system. The Citroen SURVOLT is thus essentially an exceptional styling exercise. 7 - Kia Ray Concept

8 - Hispano Suiza Gran Turismo Road-ready Prototype
The Hispano Suiza brand celebrates its return to the automotive world with a prototype for a super-premium sports car, the Granturismo. In the initial version, the car offers a V10 derived from the Audi R8 assisted by two electrically powered superchargers enabling a maximum output of 750 hp and providing quoted acceleration of zero to 100 kph (0 to 62 mph) in 3,4 seconds and a top speed in excess of 330 kph (205 mph). It has all-wheel drive, an aluminium space-frame, a carbon composite body and a luxurious interior furnished in leather, aluminium and carbon. Weight is 1590 kg. Base price is announced for 700.000 Euros (excluding taxes). Twenty five units shall be built.
A further drive system is under development with hybrid drive. In this version, the front wheels are driven by a separate 150 hp electric motor for more power, allowing a total 900 hp.
The first conventionally powered models will be shipped within the next six month after 2010 Geneva Motor Show.

10 - Hyundai i-flow Diesel Hybrid Concept
The Hyundai i-flow Concept previews a future D-Segment contender for the Korean Automaker. The styling defined at the Germany Russelheim Styling Studio, illustrate a “fluidic sculpture” with flowing lines. It is also Hyundai’s first diesel hybrid power-train that is quoted for a fuel consumption of 3 litres /100 km or equivalent 85 g/km CO2 emission.
The overall length is 4.780 mm and the wheelbase 2.800 mm while width is 1.850 mm and height 1.420 mm giving the car an athletic stance. Hyundai is announcing that it will bring into production in 2011 a new challenger in this segment of market. The technology of the concept include thermo-electric waste heat recovery developed with BASF. This process equates in further reduction in fuel consumption, 5% at highest driving. In fact up to half of the electrical energy consumed by i-flow at 80 kph – 250 watts – can be recovered through the work of a thermo-electric generator. Harvested energy from hot exhaust gases is recaptured by this generator which is fitted in the exhaust manifold.

12 - Bentley Continental Flying Star by Touring Superleggera
The Bentley Continental GT range set innovative and high standards for a new generation of very sophisticated Grand Tourers. As such, this model triggered the imagination of automotive designers and coachbuilder elsewhere. The GTC Convertible, featuring a very rigid platform, proved to be a fully congruent basis to Touring Superleggera’s plans for the new Flying Star.
The new project required the modification of a number of external dimensions starting from the car’s A-pillar backwards: extended roofline, a wider section including the doors, new aluminium door skins and an all-aluminium, electrically operated tailgate. It also includes a completely new rear compartment with two foldable rear seats and a variable loading space.
Touring Superleggera undertakes a limited production run of up to 20 units of the Continental Flying Star. This serie will be exclusively built to special order and customers specifications. The car is offered at a basic price of 590.000 Euros when based on the Continental GTC 560 hp. Other version on request. The car will be serviced at the Bentley dealers.

15 - Gumpert Apollo Sport
GUMPERT introduces a new high performance version of the famous Apollo. The Apollo Sport has its 4,2 litre twin-turbo V8 now producing 750 hp/551 kW (previously 700 hp/ 515 kW). The front and tail now have more striking and refined design with LED daytime running lights; In November 2009 the Apollo established a new record for road use homologated sports car with 7:11.57 minutes on the Nordschliefe of the Nurburgring track. 16 - Pagani Zonda Tricolore
On the occasion of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the “Frecce Tricolori, Pagani created the Zonda Tricolore as a tribute to the National Aerobatic Team. This exclusive version of the Zonda Cinque comes with special color treatment recalling the ones of the Aermacchi MB-339-A/PAN aircraft utilized by the famous Italian team. Specifications include Mercedes Benz AMG engine with 670 hp maximum power output and 780 Nm maximum torque. The structure is carbon-titanium monocoque. Transmission includes Cima sequential 6-speed gearbox robotized by Automac engineering. Dry weight is 1.210 kg. Acceleration performance is announced for 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in 3,4 seconds and o to 200 kph in 9,6 seconds. Down-force at 300 kph is 750 kg.

18 - Protoscar LAMPO2 Electric car demonstrator
Protoscar introduce the LAMPO2 electric car demonstrator with two electric motos and two sets of Lithium Ion Polymer batteries, one for the front axle and one for the rear axle; this solution allows four-wheel-drive with variable torque between front and rear axle for optimal handling. The total output of the electric motors is 300 kW/408 hp with maximum torque of 640 Nm. There is a total battery capacity of 32 kWh. Claimed performances gives 0 to 100 kph/62 mph acceleration in 5 seconds, a top speed of 200 kph and an expected over 200 km operating range.
The LAMPO2 was completed by Protoscar with several partners and is intended to validate several charging modes as well as pure electric propulsion. The previous Protoscar demonstrator, introduced in 2009, has completed more than 12.000 km across Europe.
The car includes DC/DC converters, inverters, battery chargers, VCU (Vehicle Control Unit and PDU ( Power Distribution unit) located inside the central tunnel and in the back of the car.

19 - A.C. Mk VI
A.C. Cars returns to the automobile market with an updated version of the famous Cobra Roadster. The chassis is entirely reworked with multi-tubular frame replacing the ladder type chassis. The engine is now derived from Chevrolet Corvette, a 6,2 litre with 437 hp for the GT version and 647 hp for the GTS version. Claimed 0 to 100 kph (0 to 62 mph) acceleration is accomplished in 303 seconds for the GTS and 3,9 seconds for the GT. Top speed varies from 305 kph for the GTS and 260 kph for the GT. The weight is 1025 kg for the GTS and 990 kg for the GT. A hard top version is proposed with gull-wing doors.
Base price for the GT is announced at 84.000 Euros excluding taxes. 20 units are scheduled for production in 2010 while typical production rate is expected to reach 40 to 45 cars per year starting from 2011.

20 - Koenigsegg Agera
The Swedish Koenigsegg Company is celebrating 15 years. At the time of the 2010 Geneva Motor Show a total of 81 cars have been sold worldwide. The new Agera was unveiled at Geneva. Agera in Swedish means “to act”. The original shape and concept of the Koenigsegg CC, created 15 years ago, is still fresh and valid today.
The engine is produced by Koenigsegg with a power output announced for 910 hp at 6.850 rpm while maximum torque is quoted for 1100 Nm at 5.100 rpm. It is a V8 4,7 litre, 4 valves per cylinder equipped with twin turbo superchargers. Acceleration from zero to 100 kph (0 to 62 mph) is claimed in 3,1 seconds while estimated top speed is over 390 kph (245 mph). Fuel consumption is expected at 16 l/100 km in combined cycle.
The chassis is made of carbon composite with aluminium honeycomb and integrated fuel tanks. The monocoque structure weights only 72 kg.
Dimensions: length 4.293 mm (169 in.), width 1.996 mm (78,6 in.), height 1.120 (44,1 in.), dry weight 1.290 kg (2.832 lb.)
Base price for the Agera is 790.000 Euros excluding taxes. The CCX continues in production and is proposed at a base price of 720.000 Euros excluding taxes while a biofuel CCXR version capable of operating with E100 or E 85 is available for an extra 110.000 Euros

21 - Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570- 4 Superleggera
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570- 4 Superleggera makes its entrance on the market to continue the success of its predecessor, launched in 2007, of which Lamborghini produced and sold 618 in just one year. Compared to the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560 – 4, the weight of the new Gallardo Superleggera has been trimmed by 70 kg (154 lb. Total dry weight now is 1.340 kg (2.954 lb). 22 - BUFORI MkVI Geneva Luxury Saloon from Kuala Lumpur
BUFORI Motor Car Company from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia was founded by Anthony Khouri, George Khouri and Gerry Khouri. At the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, Bufori introduced in Europe the luxury saloon Mk VI now called Geneva. This car has semi-monocoque body made of carbon fibre and Kevlar composite. It is propelled by Chrysler Hemi 6,1 litre V8 engine producing 430 hp and 586 Nm maximum torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an adaptive automatic transmission and limited slip differential. Acceleration from zero to 100 kph is expected under 6 seconds while top speed is estimated at 260 kph.
The Bufori Mk VI presents an opulent interior. The rear centre console is entirely customized to the requirements of the customers; some of the unique features include a fine tea set with instant boiling water and sink, an Expresso coffee maker or even an ice box.
Base price is announced for 300.000 U.S. Dollars excluding taxes. 60 units have been sold in Asia and homologation is being completed for Europe and the U.S.A.

The move to electric propulsion is well under way for Mitsubishi that sold 2.000 MiEV in Japan during 2009 for 3 million Yen (excluding incentives); The MiEV is scheduled for introduction in Europe during 2010 by Mitsubishi but also by Peugeot (Peugeot Ion) and Citroen (Citroen C Zero).Peugeot announced that they have already 2.000 reservations and the Peugeot Ion will be leased for less than 500 Euros/month. 25 - Pininfarina Bolloré Bluecar
The Pininfarina Bolloré Bluecar is announced to reach the market in 2010. Homologation is under way and crash test should be completed in June 2010. 8.000 pre-orders have been registered since the launching at Geneva last year. The company expects to deliver 1.000 units in 2010 while production is expected to ramp up to 10.000 units in 2011 and 20.000 units in 2012. The Bluecar is proposed exclusively for rental at 330 Euros per month. The Lithium Polymer batteries weight 300 kg and are supported by surcapacitor for energy recovery. A dozen of Bluecar prototypes have accomplished hundreds of thousand kilometres during three and a half year for the development of the car. 26 - Lumeneo Smera
French company LUMENEO will launch production of its tandem two seats electric vehicle during 2010. The first production unit was on exhibit at Geneva. Sales price is announced for 29.000 Euros (excluding incentives). 400 units are expected to be delivered during 2010. Production rate should be increased starting 2011 with up to 5.000 units per year.
The two seats car weight only 525 kg. All components are made in France with the only exception of the Lithium-ion battery by Korean Company Kokan. The 133 Volt battery has a 10 kWh capacity and can be recharged in 230 Volt 16 A household socket. The electric motor is rated at 30 kW/40 hp output and 1.000 Nm maximum torque. Maximum speed is 130 kph.
The SMERA is equipped with automatic tilting body for stability in curves – maximum tilting angle 20°. It is a specific project for transportation in city with a width of 860 mm and length of 2.500 mm. Its two door access allows easy utilization in parking. The operating range is quoted for 150km.

28 - AUDI A1 e-tron Electric Concept car with Range extender
AUDI is introducing a third e-tron concept . After two battery electric sports cars, AUDI is moving to an electric version of its new small A1 sedan. It comes equipped with an electric drive and a range extender capable of recharging the battery when it is depleted. The electric energy storage unit is arranged below the floor, where it is ideal for the centre of gravity and weight distribution. The battery pack is shaped like a T, with the short “transverse beam” filling the rear section of the centre tunnel and the “cross-beam” filling that area in front of the rear axle where the fuel tank is otherwise located. The 380 Volt Lithium-ion rechargeable battery has a nominal energy content of 12 kWh. It comprises 96 prismatic cells and weight less than 150 kg (330,69 lb). More info and pictures here

29 - BYD E6 full Electric and F3DM Hybrid Cars
BYD Company Ltd from China was established in 1995. It developed rapidly to become one of the world’s largest rechargeable battery manufacturer in 2003, with tha company’s nickel metal hydride and lithium-ion batteries for mobile phone and personal computers rising quickly. In 2003, BYD Auto Ltd was founded as a subsidiary of BYD Company Limited following the acquisition of the previously state-owned Tsinchuan automobile company.
BYD Auto sales surged magnificently in China and the domestic automaker finished the 2009 sales target of 400.000 units ahead of time.
BYD Company has ten production and R&D facilities in China for the development and manufacturing of IT components, batteries and automobiles.
In 2008, BYD launched the BYD F3DM on the Chinese market. This four seats sedan operates as plug-in hybrid vehicle; it uses a small gasoline engine and an electric motor with a combined output of 168 hp (125 kW). The DM drive-train is quoted to perform like a standard 2,4 litre gasoline engine although at much lower cost. The BYD F3DM is announced with a full electric range of about 60 miles at cruising mode. The electric motor is 50 kW (67 hp).
Under deceleration and braking, the electric motor acts as a generator to recover kinetic energy. With the seamless integration of an electric motor and a gasoline engine the BYD F3DM can run up to 360 miles (580 km) on a single battery charge and a full tank of gasoline.
BYD F3DM dimensions: length 4.533 mm (178,4 in), width 1.705 mm (67,1 in), height 1.520 mm (59,2 in), wheelbase 2.600 mm (102,3 in), dry weight 1.560 kg (3.439 lbs).
Claimed top speed 150 kph (93 mph) – acceleration from 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in 10,5 seconds – electricity consumption 16 kW/100 km (25,6 kW/ 100 miles).
In 2009, BYD launches the full electric e6 5 seats hatchback sedan in China. This car is quoted for an operating range of 330 km at cruising speed, with acceleration from 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in less than 14 seconds and a top speed of 140 kph. (87 mph).
At 2010 Geneva Motor Show, BYD announced an introduction of electric cars on European market during 2011. Just need to wait and see.

30 - Nissan Leaf Near Production Prototype
The pure electric power Nissan Leaf was introduced in its near production state. This 5 doors family sedan has 80 kW/110 hp electric motor and lithium-ion batteries providing expected range of 160 km (according to standard US-LA4 cycle). The Nissan Leaf is expected on the Japanese , the U.S. and several European markets by the end of 2010. 32 - LOTUS Evora 414E Hybrid Concept 2010
The Lotus Evora 414E Hybrid Concept is a technology demonstrator for Lotus Engineering that is a subsidiary of Lotus Cars Limited. The Lotus Evora 414E has a plug-in-series hybrid drive system developed by Lotus Engineering and that is proposed for car manufacturer. The drive system include Lotus developed Range Extender that provides 35 kW/ 47hp at 3.500 rpm via the integrated electrical generator and features an innovative architecture comprising an aluminium mono-block construction, integrating the cylinder block, cylinder head and exhaust manifold in one casting. 33 - SEAT IBE Full Electric Concept
Seat is presenting a compact sports coupe concept, called IBE, that not only illustrates new styling but also electric mobility. The coupe concept is short, low and wide, shows an extremely low front end and broad shoulders compared to the Ibiza; it is a 2+2 coupé with 3,78 m length, 1,8 m width and only 1,22 m height. The styling concept is aimed at showing ongoing development of next generation Seat production models.
The Seat IBE is an all electric vehicle. The drive motor is located together with the power electronics beneath the extremely flat bonnet, with the lithium-ion battery positioned in the car’s very short rear end. With a maximum output of 75 kW (102 hp) and 200 Nm of torque, the power unit allows acceleration from 0 to 50 kph in 3,4 seconds; within 6,3 seconds, the IBE has reached 80 kph, and after 9,4 seconds it arrives at 100 kph. The IBE weight is announced for only 1000 kg. The continuous power rating is limited to 50 kW/68 hp, with a top speed limited to 160 kph. Battery capacity is 18 kWh which is announced to provide 130 km operating range.

34 - Bentley Continental Supersports Flexfuel Convertible
Following the introduction of the Continental Supersports Coupé in 2009, Bentley is presenting the Convertible that is the fastest and most potent drop-top Bentley has ever built. The new Supersports Convertible, with the same 621 hp/463 kW twin-turbocharged W12 engine, will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3,9 seconds (0 to 100 kph in 4,2 seconds an reaches a top speed of 202 mph (326 kph). The introduction of the FlexFuel technology reaffirms Bentley’s on-going environmental commitment to make all its cars biofuel-compatible by 2012. To ensure seamless power delivery, the on-board fuel supply system detects the blending ratio of the fuel in the tank and ensures that power and torque remain constant regardless of the ratio of gasoline to biofuel.

35 - NVL QUANT full electric prototype
The QUANT is a four seats electric car project introduced by Energy Company NVL Solar AG as a demonstration of its capabilities in new technologies related to energy. The QUANT is intended to be produced and is announced for 2012. The announced target sale price is 100.000 Euros. NVL intends to enter the electric automobile market by more exclusive vehicles and move further to more accessible cars as the brand gain in recognition. The Quant is powered by four 150 kW electric motors and its body included windows is covered by a special multi-layer photovoltaic thin film that will generate the electric energy for its batteries. The structure is carbon fibre monocoque that will allow a projected dry weight of 1.680 kg even though energy accumulators with cooling system is expected to weigh approximately 500 kg. Claimed performances include a 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) acceleration in 2,8 seconds and a top speed of 377 kph.
