Renault 1907
In 1906, the first Automobile Club de l'Ouest French Grand Prix was organized near Le Mans (la Sarthe, France) over 103 km. A Renault won the race. Subsequently, several orders were passed. This Renault 1907 result from one of these orders. It is still in good running condition 100 years later. The engine is a 4 cylinders, cast by pair. The cast iron sidevalve unit makes 7.429 cc. and develops 60 hp at 1400 rpm.
