Mazda Senku Concept 2005

The Mazda Senku concept car is presented for the first time in Europe. It is a two seater with an original cabin arrangement, electric sliding doors and two sliding hatch openings. The propulsion responds to the hybrid technology combining a rotary piston gasoline engine with electric motors. The roof is covered with solar cells for further capacity of electric power generation.
The body design responds to the combination of sharp edges and soft curves, producing an extremely clean volume.
The original cabin arrangement associates a dashboard centred around the steering wheel for optimum driver position , creating a driver section, with a passenger seat set back for more comfort.
