Peugeot Epure hydrogen fuel cell powered  concept car 2006 
              
              The Peugeot Epure concept introduces the  soon to be introduced Peugeot 207 CC (Coupe Cabriolet) with folding roof.
  This prototype is equipped with GENEPAL 20  fuel cell designed with CEA. This PEMFC (proton exchange membrane fuel cell) is  fitted with thin stainless steel plates for lower cost. It produces a nominal  power of 40 kW with peak power rated at 70 kW. It  operates with hydrogen stored in 5 cylinders  (15 liters  or 3 kg  capacity) and is claimed to provide 350 km range.
              Peugeot claims 50% energy efficiency  compared to 20 to 30% for internal combustion engines.
              Weight is 1550 kg. Claimed  performances are top speed of 130 kph and 0 to 100 kph in 15,0 seconds while 30  to 60 kph can be achieved in 3,5 seconds.
