Peugeot Spyder 207 racing prototype 2006
The new Peugeot Spyder racing prototype is intended for mono-serie races that will be organised at the beginning of each five ALMS championship races.
This mid engine prototype was designed for easy maintenance. The chassis is multitubular type in three section while the body is in nine elements. Most suspension components are from Peugeot 407.
The transverse mounted engine will be 1,6 l THP 16 valves 4 cylinders produced by Peugeot in partnership with BMW. It produces 175 hp at 5.800 rpm.
Weight is 720 kg, length is 413 cm and width 185 cm.
